K3 Legal has elevated three lawyers to special counsel, senior associate and associate in a recent promotion round.
“As our firm grows, our collective team have all stepped up to the plate to continue to deliver for clients, which we’re very thankful for. These three promotions are a reflection of that hard work and the sheer quality of the service they’re providing,” managing director Edwin Morrison said.
Litigator Kerry Puddle advances from senior associate to special counsel. He first joined the firm in 2017, and has a wealth of experience in a wide range of commercial and civil matters, handling complex contract, construction, property, tort and insolvency disputes.
Julia Leenoh steps into the role of senior associate from her previous position as associate. She is a specialist in commercial and civil litigation who has handled various matters, including contractual disputes, tort, insolvency, employment law and corporate disputes.
Solicitor Patrick Shanahan-Pinker becomes the firm’s newest associate. He focuses on civil litigation, and is knowledgeable in commercial, property and construction law. Before he pursued a legal career, he was a survey technician for some major land surveying firms in Auckland, which enabled him to accumulate property and land development experience.
To bolster its growth further, the firm is looking to recruit three new litigators, a commercial lawyer and a new construction lawyer to its roster.
“It’s a busy and exciting time for K3 Legal and the wider K3 Group as a whole, and we’re particularly pleased with our internal development and staff growth,” Morrison said.
